The modern society is in a constant progress, and this development involves all the spheres of the people’s social life where interpersonal and business communication plays the main role. From this point, such occupations which are oriented to the support and organizational activity are significant today because they meet the requirements of the changing world and current principles of the effective cooperation. Moreover, the tension of constantly changing trends and strategies in providing the effective work of employees, their high performance, job satisfaction and motivation is often overcome by the representatives of such professions as the Human Resources assistant because of these occupations’ practical orientation. Thus, the Human Resources assistant’s task is to contribute to realizing all the mentioned aspects within the Human Resources Management department when HR specialists work with the similar tasks in the context of the whole company. The position of the Human Resources assistant reflects the current world tendencies, basing on the principles of the effective organization and planning, implementation of new policies, departmental development, providing services, control of employees’ safety, and regulation of workforce issues.

While choosing the career of the Human Resources assistant, I paid attention to the fact that effective communication skills based on the norms of ethics and the developed organizational competencies are the most important factors for becoming successful in the chosen field. To achieve the desired results in the preferred profession, it is necessary to learn and follow all its principles in their combination with the ethical norms and standards. Every professional activity should be realized with references to ethical principles, especially when it is associated with the people’s cooperation and interpersonal contacts (Schumann, 2001). Furthermore, the Human Resources assistant should concentrate on improving his or her organizational skills because a lot of assistant’s responsibilities are connected with working out effective schedules for HR specialists, planning interviews with job applicants, and presenting reports for managers. These activities depend on the regular usage of modern technologies which help to analyze workforce, develop and implement the necessary programs for regulating the work of the department and increase its performance (Schramm, 2006).

The next important aspect of the Human Resources assistant’s work is the necessity to build the effective communication with employees and applicants. To contribute to the development of the high performance culture in the company, the Human Resources assistant works with those concepts which are traditionally used by HR managers. These concepts are taken from the fields of psychology, business administration, strategy development, and organizational behavior (Kaufman, 2012). In spite of the fact the work of the Human Resources assistant is often discussed as a routine because of the duty to provide the reports and records about the employees’ work and performance, to contact with applicants, examine the resumes, and work with the Internet sites, this occupation provides a lot of challenges for a young person who wants to improve his or her organizational skills and competencies in work with people.
