The primary objective of choosing the future career is mainly to set ones future according to the life style, level of knowledge and cognitive skills, preferences and some motivations, consciousness, etc. This paper is going to discuss the IT career as a major, its analysis, as well as Psychological, Biological and Sociological influences of the choice.

It is common that not each person can cope with the IT profession without harm for psychology and mental well being. Thus, the person should posses the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes required for satisfactory job performance. The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas: computer hardware and software systems and programs, computer networks, network administration and network installation, troubleshooting, computer viruses and securit, E-mail and internet program, an understanding of the northern economic, cultural and political environment, etc. Thus, it is obvious that the psyche of the person should be rather flexible and stress resistant, besides, the person whose choice is IT sphere is more likely to be of analytical and non humanitarian habit of mind which is important for fruitful work and harmless functioning in professional sphere. Abilities to prepare detailed written instructions and documentation, to analyze instructions and data, ability to gather and analyze facts, define problems, and devise solutions and then maintain records, prepare reports, and conduct correspondence related to the work are necessary and archetypal for such a kind of career. Ability to communicate technical terminology at a level appropriate to the audience is also a specific skill typical in IT.

Apart from the psychological peculiarities, the social influences are mot less important, as the carer of IT presupposes communication to people and a lot of problem solving, negotiation and management issues. That is why it is more likely that the incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:management and supervisory skills, ability to install and administer computer hardware, software and networks, set priorities and assign work to other professionals, organize and coordinate the work of other, team building skills, analytical and problem solving skills, decision making skills, effective verbal, presentation and listening communications skills, effective written communications skills, stress and management skill, time management skills, etc.

Apart from the fact that the professional should be a person of excellent and strong social skill, he or she is demanded to demonstrate personal attributes like being honest and trustworthy, respectful and possess cultural awareness and sensitivity, be flexible and tolerant, friendly, etc. It is vital that the person while choosing the profession of IT take into consideration the fact that his personality and psychological, social, and biological type should maximum match the demands of the future profession.

Speaking about the biological influences that may play some role in the choice, they are the basic criterion, indeed. It is important to know the biological peculiarities and differences of the organism to make the right choice which in future will not lead to health problems or specific harm to the nervous system.
