The problem of the environment protection and ecological situation is an extremely acute problem. Every year life conditions are getting worse in the cities, especially in industrial centres, because the intensity of natural resources, surface water, soil usage and exploiting is very high. This process is accompanied by the destruction of the natural landscape and the ousting of its "artificial environment", that does not always fit for people’ and animals’ life. Human impact affects the important components of the environment, the atmosphere, hydrosphere, soil, and, as they are all connected, the destruction and pollution of the components get widespread character.

Global Warming

Global warming is the sociological and ecological changes that are caused by the rise of global temperatures. Global warming causes changes in weather patterns, leading to irregular rainfall seasons, snows falls and increase the activity of volcanism. It is one of the vital environmental challenges that people are facing today, but a condition that has an adverse effect to the whole world.

The main cause of global warming is the increase in anthropogenic cycle. This is a condition where the pressure exerted by human chemical or habitual activities in relation to the force of natural process. It has many negative effects towards the environment ranging from temperature rise and fall, weather changes, acidification of ocean waters, melting of glacier, migration, health issues and many more adverse effects.

Global warming has also been a leading cause of extinction of species such as those found in the water bodies. The change in the normal order of the ecosystem is as a result of global warming, different species of organisms are not able to survive the changes and the species end up becoming extinct.

Air Pollution

The primary causes of air pollution include released harmful substances directly in the air from a particular base, such as gas emanating from motor vehicles, volcanic eruptions and smoke from industries (Hilgenkamp, 2006). The smoke releases carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide thereby affecting the natural environment, as it poses health risks to many people and other living organisms. It also causes harm to crops and materials, such as marble statues and change in climate thereby causing global warming. Hot temperatures worsen the effects of smoke and cause respiratory diseases like asthma and lungs problem, heart diseases like stroke, stress, and kidney failure, which can be lethal and cause early death.

Industrialization has affected air greatly through more technological innovation coming up. Consequently, chemicals are mixed to ease work and save time, therefore, resulting in smoky industries all over. Petroleum products, such as petrol and diesel used by motor vehicles are a source of sulfur dioxide produced during ignition and hooting which is also harmful to the environment.

Water Pollution

Water is polluted primarily when pure water is mixed with contaminants. The contaminants are chemicals from industries and human activities with greater effect on the well-being of humans and other living organisms. Contamination results when water from human wastes is carried off by cut off or septic tanks supply to fortification. Moreover, the …
