The British government structure includes in itself the Queen, Prime-Minister and the parliament. The Queen is the important figure in the British government with specific responsibilities and enforcement powers. The duties of the Queen also include the meeting with Prime-Minister opening of the new parliamentary session. There, she describes the proposed government policies and legislation. She is a commander of the armed forces and has a right to reward for services to the state. She represents the state in the international arena, but their actions will agree with the foreign policy of the Government. Queen is independent on political parties in her activity. The Queen could dissolve the Parliament and call early elections in the case when the Parliament voted of no confidence to the Government.

The Prime Minister is the leader of the one of the political parties which won the most seats in parliament. The Prime Minister is the chief advisor to the monarch. The primary responsibility of the Prime Minister is the formation of a government, that is, the creation of the Cabinet, which is able to hold the support of the House of Commons after the appointment of the monarch. He coordinates the policies and actions of the Cabinet and various government departments. The Prime Minister also has a lot of power in the making an appointment. Usually, the monarch makes the appointment. However, the selection of candidates and the recommendations makes the Prime Minister. The Parliament consists of the House of Lords and House of Commons, who pass laws, fund work of government, control the direction of government policy and public administration, as well as discuss the key political issues of the country. Thus, the Parliament is the highest legislation tool in the country.

The Constitution of the UK is a set of laws, precedents and constitutional traditions of Great Britain, which determine the formation and powers of the state, the principles of the relationship between a government and public bodies and citizens. A distinctive feature of the British constitution is the lack of a single document, which may be called the fundamental law of the country. The Constitution of the United Kingdom, in contrast to many other constitutional documents and other branches of the British law is the same for all of the United Kingdom: for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
