Abstract

Environmental damage and increasing of oil prices forced to look for new ways to solve these problems. Hybrid cars are an important step in the development of a new generation of vehicles. People's interest in hybrid cars is growing rapidly every day. In response to the increasing demand of hybrid cars, automobile companies are offering new ideas for these vehicles. For over ten years, such automobile giants as Toyota and Honda produce hybrid vehicles commercially. Hybrid cars have become an intermediary between electric cars and cars running on gasoline. Connecting two types of engines led to effective results. Hybrid cars are environmentally friendly. They significantly reduce emissions into the atmosphere. Unlike electric cars, they do not require constant recharging. The presence of two engines provides reliable vehicle operation. Hybrid cars provide comfortable and environmentally safe transportation. These cars have many economic advantages. All these factors make hybrid cars a great choice for anyone.

The Economy and the Environment Affect the Production of Hybrid Cars

Nowadays economic and environmental problems of the population are extremely important. That is why many automotive industries are trying to make their product more environmentally friendly and cost-effective. And hybrid cars are the result of applying new technologies to achieve these goals.

Hybrid cars have become popular over the last few years. Demand for these machines is increasing. Hybrid cars are different from common fuel efficient cars by having two motors. This cars use both internal combustion engine powered by gasoline and a high-voltage batteries. This combination of engines has many advantages.

One of the main advantages of hybrid cars is the low consumption of gasoline. The unstable situation in the oil market leads to a constant increase in fuel prices. Hybrid cars get up to about 20% - 35% longer distance than common gas-powered cars. This allows people to travel long distances for less money.

Hybrid cars have many other economic benefits. Insurance costs of hybrid cars are about 5 percent lower compared to cars powered by gasoline. Hybrid cars require much less maintenance. The use of an electric engine makes the hybrid cars extremely silent in operation. This fact improves the convenience of drivers and passengers. Hybrid cars are allowed to park in many places that are inaccessible to ordinary cars. This is due to the fact that hybrid cars emit less carbon dioxide. All automotive manufacturers of hybrid cars provide a strong guarantee for their products. All these benefits allow people to consider the hybrid cars as a cost-effective despite their high cost compared to ordinary cars.

Hybrid cars are a significant way to solve environmental problems. Stan Luger fairly noticed: “Global warming, urban air pollution, oil dependence and depletion, sprawl, noise, and more are the price we have paid for too many cars being driving too many miles” (Luger, 2009). Indeed, a large concentration of vehicles contributes to air pollution and the emergence of smog. These problems are particularly acute in the large cities and metropolitan areas. Hybrid cars are a great solution to this problem. …
