Human nature is hard to define. Every time we react to external situations we prove our own unique evolved nature. The naturalness in human behaviors, decisions and actions is initially inherited from the ancestors and afterwards is shifted by our individual experiences as well as the immediate environment where we spend our life. Thus, human behavior is a result of innate human nature and individual experience and environment. In due sense, there are two opposing paradigms on human behavior. Social scientists regard human behavior as the product of surrounding environment and socialization, whereas evolutionary psychologists consider human nature as a set of psychological adaptations. For instance our proneness to sweets and fats is evolved psychological mechanism since sweets and fats taste good.The notion of innate behavior stands for the habits humans develop on their own. These behaviors do not need any external learning. Every human is born with the potential to display the behavior. Throughout lifetime humans reinforce certain behaviors that are natural to them. This naturalness is gained without any external impacts and people just know they can do it. Whenever feeling the slightest discomfort, a baby starts to cry to attract parents’ attention. This habit is not acquired or learned – it comes naturally (instinctively). We normally use our instincts in critical situations. Once under water a person will naturally move upwards to be able to breathe. Once burnt a person will instinctively blow on the affected area, however, if further taught, a person will use other means (soar cream) to relieve the pain.
