Video presentation on Water Pollution in Honduras, recorded in 2012, outlines the burning issues referring to the understanding of water purity importance in today’s society in Honduras, and around the world on the whole.

On the one side, the speaker in his speech outlines the core dangerous problems that are associated with usage of polluted water, and on the other side, he admits that usage of pure water is accompanied by a range of positive moments, dealing not only with health, but also with further self-esteem and realization of people.

Therefore, speaker states that there is burning issue regarding the negative influence of polluted water in Honduras, specifically. The idea expressed highlights the impact of overpopulation in the large cities that might lead to using water in almost all spheres of the everyday routine life of each citizen. Thus, due to incorrect usage of water resources, it might become dangerous due to presence of diverse hazardous components that might move with the water utilized to the rivers, seas and oceans. Consequently, these contaminated particles within water could appear in the glass of water of any person, including children, therefore, leading them to diseases and, in rare occasions, death from these illnesses.

However, on the other side, the speaker admitted that in today’s world the importance of pure water plays its significant role, leading to cleaning of the water on different water stations. Thus, in case of normally functioning and working water stations, oriented at water cleaning, the contamination, pollution and dirt would not flow with water to rivers, seas and oceans and, subsequently, would not harm health state of any person, and children in particular. Therefore, in case if the water is maintained at the sufficient pure level, there would not appear different illnesses and related deaths, which would lead to significant healthy functioning of the society and would improve self-esteem of the population, letting them work on their education and self-realization, rather than being worried about the quality of consumed water.

All in all, it is needed to sum up that polluted water consumption has significant negative effects on both individual human life and functioning of the society on the whole, since it does not allow to pay attention to self-realization due to sole concentration over the problems, related to the worsening health conditions due to such water consumption. On the other side, in case of correct water usage in everyday life and implementation of the functioning stations, oriented at cleaning of the water from contaminated particles, population would maintain healthy and would be able to develop further without being afraid to become sick due to such water consumption.
