It should be ensured that all employees are familiar with their work. Managers should assess to what degree the workers are able to apply the required skills and knowledge in the work done. For those who have underperformed, they should be advised on what they should do so as to improve on their work. The workers should also be educated on how to work with available machines for a better yield.
Verbal communication of the workers should be effective and simple to understand. All the workers should be using one common language. The information to be passed over should be convenient and delivered in time. Their communication skills should be assessed though the communication etiquette and the turn taking. The information passed should not be ambiguous (Edgar 2005).
Workers creativity should be highly recommended so as to help the company to produce more marketable products. The workers with high level creativity should be rewarded as a way of motivation. This will result to a better sale and hence more profit to the company. This creativity should be assessed by the complexity of the ideas brought across and its significance for a better yield.
Judgments made to the workers should be fair and reasonable. The manager should weigh the mistake committed and see if it is worth the judgment. For the commonly committed mistake at the workplace, fixed judgments should be set (Paul 2007). All workers should be judged equally without favors. This will help the workers change their behaviors and adhere to the rule and regulations of the company that guides them.
An attendance machine should be provided. It should be a machine that senses workers finger prints and indicates the time it has sensed. All workers should be informed to touch the machine as the first thing after getting to work. This would be efficient since all workers have different finger prints thus detection would be easy and specific (Edgar 2005). A book for the customers should also be provided so that they can comment on the services provided. This will ensure provision of good services to them.
