Entrepreneurship is an activity that a person or a group of people undertakes after identifying a business opportunity and working towards its exploitation. This article entitled, “A Young Entrepreneur's Sweet Idea” is about a young 15 year old boy; Nicky who ventures into the food business aiming at producing food products with natural ingredients as the only constituents. The story on how he came up with the idea is quite interesting due to the fact that it arose from a dispute with his parents in regard to his teeth. They were pressuring his to eat snacks that are healthier. Nicky is advantaged since he has support from his father who is a successful entrepreneur and a millionaire. Nicky and father face some challenges in his venture since they do not have many of the essential resources required to facilitate large scale operations like a manufacturing plant that already established candy makers companies have. Additionally the article presents that Nicky and his Dad have been facing other challenges of disagreement for instance in regards to the packaging of candy. Each had a different idea.

This article with the title, “Two Young Entrepreneurs Get Their Hands Dirty with Urban Farming” is about Nikhil, 25, and Alejandro, 24, who venture in to the business of growing mushrooms having taken a course on urban farming. It is indicated that they established branches and the business grew and began manufacturing as well as distributing gourmet mushroom kits to people at their homes which they grow at their homes on coffee grounds that have been recycled being used as soil. They opted to specialize on mushroom kits only since carrying this activity together with that of providing fresh mushrooms were two different operations whereby executing both almost threatened them out of the venture.

The article presents that today their business has grown large dealing with online customers as well as from an international perspective. In the year 2011 their revenue summed up to 1.3 million dollars with the 2012 projections being 5 million dollars.
