It is written that God has created the Earth in seven days. In this version nature and all living beings were created before man and woman. On the contrary, in Genesis 2.4-3.24 it is written that a man was created before the animals and a woman was created out of man’s rib. In the second version there is also the story about the exile of a man and a woman from Eden. Two stories contradict each other, they are also written in different manner which reveal the fact that there were multiple authors of Genesis. There is a belief that the world will come to an end. In the Christian views it will happen because of God’s Will and the name of it is Apocalypse. In gospels Jesus is described as apocalyptic prophet, the one that will come to warn the humanity about the end. Nowadays, New Testament scholars say that Jesus was at least failed apocalyptic prophet as he predicted the end of the world among the generation of his first followers and it did not happen.Muslims believe in Prophets and Messengers. In Qur’an Jesus called Isa and he is considered as one of the Prophets along with Muhammad, Adam and Moses. Muslims also believe that Maria (Maryam in Qur’an) was a virgin before giving birth to Jesus. They also believe that Jesus performed miracles. On the contrary, Muslims do not believe that Jesus was a son of God. There is no information in Qur’an that he was killed on the cross and then resurrected. They believed he was lifted by God to heaven and did not die.Works CitedBrummet, Barry. Contemporary Apocalyptic Rhetoric. New York, NY: Praeger Publishers, 1991. Print.Tebbe, James A.
