“Nursing is one of the noblest professions in our society and currently there are far more nursing jobs than there are those qualified to fill them. It's one of the noblest positions any of us can choose as a career”.
Nowadays the nursing industry is to be investigated thoroughly with the aim to improve its further development. New strategies for achieving the improvements of the industry appear. Like most other service industries, the healthcare industry is very labour intensive. One reason for healthcare’s reliance on an extensive workforce is that it is not possible to produce a “service” and then store it for later consumption. Thus, the interaction between healthcare consumers and healthcare providers is an integral part of the delivery of health services. In order to achieve good results we should interview the well qualified specialists and ask for advices as for the development of the industry. Human resources for health workforce planning deals with the following questions: how do we determine the number of surgeons needed in a particular geographic area, what factors help us to best anticipate future supply and need for various types of healthcare workers, what methods are used to project future workforce needs, what are the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches, and how may they be most effectively applied. Many internationally trained physicians and nurses who work in the United States and other developed countries are trained in developing countries. Several international bodies and individual countries have adopted policies that attempt to manage the movement of physicians and nurses from developing to developed nations, but thus far no universal practices have been adopted.
