The problem of the mutual relations in the system “person - nature - civilization” is among the eternal philosophical problems. Without going too far into the history of its formation and development, the first ecological crises of a local character had been known since the ancient times, and they were the basis which served an evident illustration of a vital importance of the given problem.
The article called “Juggling with Air Pollutant Data” was taken from “Science Daily” journal, and touches upon a very urgent problem of the emissions which affect the air quality.

The article raises the problem of the air quality all over the world. Air pollution is one of the main risks for the health, connected with environment. By means of the decrease of the level of air pollution we can promote the countries to reduce the global burden of the diseases caused by the respiratory infections, heart and lung cancer diseases.
The lower there are the air pollution levels in the city, the better there is the respiratory (both in long, and in short-term prospect) and cardiovascular health of the population. According to the information of the WHO, air pollution in rooms leads approximately to 2 million cases of the premature deaths, generally in the developing countries. Nearly a half of these cases of deaths occur among children under five as a result of pneumonia.
According to the article, the impact of the air pollutants cannot be controlled from the side of the separate people - the actions of the state authorities on the international, national, and regional levels are necessary.

The changes in a chemical composition of the atmosphere which became the result of the massed industrialization, intensive agriculture and urbanization, and also motor transport movement, navigation and air traffic, directly and indirectly led to the increase of radiating impact and as a result to the future changes in the temperature and a hydrological cycle of the Earth.
According to the article, the development of the complex systems of monitoring, means of assimilation of data and prognostic models which integrate various data within the frameworks of the interconnected structure is the priority for the scientific community.
People bring disturbances into the system of the Earth not only by means of emissions of the greenhouse gases, but also by means of the production and release of chemically active compounds and aerosols, and also by means of change in land use (for example, by means of deforestation, irrigation and urbanization) in the atmosphere.
