African Immigration to FranceThe research paper will cover the issues that are closely connected with the immigration of Africans to France. As a mater of fact, a number of African states were the colonies of France for a long period of time and, consequently, Africans were ruled by the French Government and lived in full accordance with the rules, norms, and standards of the French society. However, regardless of the fact that Africans lived under the governance of France, they lived very poorly, as they worked for the development of the French society, which deprived them of the possibility to develop financially, economically, politically, and so on and so forth. In order to improve living standards, Africans migrated to France in search of better job opportunities. The hypotheses of the research paper are the following ones: Africans had very poor living standards and life conditions when they lived in French colonies; the consequences of World War II (poor housing conditions, lack of food and clothes, poor social conditions, and so on and so forth) served as the primary factors that pushed Africans to move to France; Africans moved to France in order to improve their life and live a descent life there. The hypotheses of the research paper will be either supported or refuted in the process of conducting a research. However, with economic and social development in other countries, the majority of people had the right and the possibility to get education, but Africans were deprived of such possibility even after the majority of states gained their independence. As soon as World War II was over, Africans experienced extremely difficult life conditions and the majority of them worked hard in order to get some bread to survive. Poor living conditions, the desire to improve living standards, and start living a descent life pushed Africans to develop strategies that would help them move to France. As a matter of fact, not all representatives of African states started moving to France at once. The citizens of Algeria, Senegal, Mali, and Mauritania were the first who started moving to France. “Until the mid 1980ies four fifth of Sub-Saharan immigrants in France were originating from Senegal, Mauritania and Mali predominantly from the Senegal River valley, which passes …
