To achieve career goals, one has to prepare for the future job position and acquire skills and abilities necessary to become a successful candidate. Firstly, to decide what career path or profession to choose, one has to participate in a wide range of activities in order to determine personal preferences, strengths, abilities and weaknesses. Secondly, there are skills and abilities, such as communication, presentation and analytical skills, which are helpful for every person regardless of his/her future profession. As the result, I chose activities, which allowed me to determine my strengths and job preferences.

During my studying, I was aimed at becoming a leader in everything I do – competitions, projects and social work. I was always challenging myself as I strongly convinced that people should be professionals in what they do and contribute to the organization and the society. As the result, I acquired good communication and presentation skills, as well as tested my analytical skills.

Even though I like to participate in academic competitions, I enjoy communicating, meeting new friends and visiting cultural and social places. Therefore, I became the leader of class union and took responsibility for organizing social class meetings and field trips. Such activities allowed me to improve team-building skills.

The activities mentioned above shaped my personality and allowed identifying my preferences, skills and strengths. Regardless of future job choice, good communication, presentation, analytical and team – building skills will help me to become a successful candidate.
