Conor considers women to be viewed as objects and men, in their turn, as subjects. Is it possible for women to be viewed as subjects, considering their “objecthood”? Let us see.

In most cultures such binary is taken even by feminists. Could then be Conor considered as a feminist according to her judgements? She probably could. However, if taking all the women, especially in the West, into consideration, the situation in binary active/passive between men and women changed only a few years ago.

Women become more self-confident and emancipated. Even in Muslim countries situation changes. Politics all over the world is intended for equality between men and women. Conor confirms such intentions.

Nevertheless, women should be better understood only in the mix of their object and subject nature, especially in the questions of culture. Beginning from the ancient times woman was always regarded as a goddess. Women were in the mist of their beauty and mysteriousness. This objective mist penetrates into subjective woman nature.

All these judgements are rather controversial. Could a woman be concerned either as an object or as a subject? Could she have only subjective nature? A lot of scientist and philosophers think this question over. Conor is one of them. Feminist were the most successful in reaching their subjective nature without mixing it with the odour of objective beauty. What is more, when such conception as metro sexual appeared, men prefer to be looked at, even not considering women to share this prerogative …
