The purpose of this report is to inform on the tasks and assignments that were completed with respect to the project on cloud-based technology. The scope of the project includes investigating cost and efficiency aspects of information technology in organizations of various sizes. The project is likely to deliver promising results since it provides opportunities for managing IT department and utilizing possibilities offered by cloud storage service providers.
First of all, additional materials were discovered to enhance the project’s theoretical background. In particular, four additional research and field-relevant articles were encountered. The articles that would be used to support or oppose claims presented in the project would be used as additional resources and referenced to when needed.
Secondly, a meeting with project supervisor (project expert) was conducted. The primary purpose of the meeting was a discussion on the overall progress of the project (such as research, concepts’ formulation and analysis of the available material). Additionally, in lieu of the meeting Capstone Project Paper was revised.
Third, extensive research was conducted to find practical support for the project’s claims and purposes. In particular, research was conducted concerning implementation and utilization of cloud technologies in modern business practices. This information is intended to enhance the scope of the project.
Finally, work on “Researchers Statement” was initiated to keep in line with the intended flow of the project and its projected completion deadlines.
