I have an aspiration to become a registered dietitian. One of the reasons I want it to be my profession is because I want to help people to become healthy. Food is an essential part of our life, healthy food makes people live longer and helps them to lead a productive life. I want to help people to achieve both their fitness and nutritional goals. To my mind, the profession of a registered dietitian is also very interesting, because it covers a lot of material to study. For example, to become a registered dietitian one should study chemistry, microbiology, statistics, biological chemistry and organic chemistry. At first view this seems to be a complicated process, but I would like to say that it is worth it. With the help of these studies a registered dietitian will be able to provide his or her client with good food choices and help them to create meals plans.

What I also like about this profession is that it has a broad field of activity. A registered dietitian can not only work in hospitals, long term care centers, and medical clinics. One has a range of choices. A registered dietitian can have his or her own practice, write articles for magazines, work for different corporations, schools, airlines, sport teams, and create his or her own blog.

The factor which influenced my decision to become a registered dietitian is that I will be able to help people who have some medical conditions. For example, if a person has diabetes, it is essential to take care of his or her diet plan to reduce the blood sugar level. To become a registered dietitian, one should be an energetic, outgoing, and empathetic person. I like to communicate with people, help them to solve their problems, like to do different tasks and want this to become my daily care.
