Question 1

The greatest aim of coming up with this case study on ethics in public policy and administration is to come up with some of the instances that illustrates some of the poor ethics that have been committed, how they occurred and the consequences that were faced as a result by the victims.

Question 2

Individuals may decide to direct their research on three topics that they would majorly put into consideration while making their case study. The first topic might be on John Edwards’ scandal which claims that Edward had an affair with a film maker. This engagement went on till it bared a child with this film maker who was hired to work for him during his presidential campaign (Terry 2012). The second one might on Brittni Colleps, who was a teacher in Texas. She is now suffering a jail term for having a group sex with 18 of her students. The third topic can be on an assemblyman by the name Vito J. Lopez who was accused for a sexual harassment scandal.

Question 3

These topics talks of different instances that occurred and were tried in courts and the victims were judged accordingly. This information will be of great importance to the learners since as they go through this case study since they will be having an idea on how to make judgments on different cases based on various ethics in public policy. It will also help them know what to consider before coming up with a certain judgment.

Question 4

On each of the topics mentioned above, there are very many materials that are available for my research which will enable an individual to come up with the best conclusion since it will be a comparison of different materials on these topics.

Question 5

Concerning the topics selected above, a person can be able to view ethics cases from different perspectives which are such as being in a position of identifying unethical behavior committed publicly, how to consider some of the evidences given, maybe through videos, an experience on how to handle such cases, knowing of the things to consider before making a judgment and also the kind questions that should be asked so as to derive certain information from the suspect.

Question 6

One thing that to be kept into consideration while coming up with these topics is the circumstances under which the suspect was in and that led to their acting in a certain way publicly and resulted to be unethical.
