People say that knowledge is power. In my opinion, it is indeed true. People tend to learn new things, to study new information, to learn about new technologies, and so on. It is an essential part of life, and I am also sure that one does not get old until they study and learn new information day by day. People go abroad for that, because it contributes not only to the study process, but also to a lot of other aspects and spheres, which will be discussed in the present essay. Certainly, there are also challenges on the way, and it is important to be prepared to them.

The number one challenge which can also be turned into an advantage is a different culture in the country a student chooses to study. Each country has its own way of teaching and its own educational system, which may radically differ from the one a student is used to. However, it gives a great chance to get to know it very well and to understand it, which in its turn will result in a better understanding of the world. It broadens a student’s horizons and makes a fantastic contribution into his or her way of thinking.

Another challenge on the way is a foreign language, which also requires some preparation. A student has to adapt to a new environment, and if they do everything right, they will improve their skills and learn the language very well. One more challenge is being away from the family, which can be truly hard for some people. However, it can also be overcome, because there are various means of communication with people who live in other countries and they all work very well.

As for me, I am well-prepared for all these obstacles and I am sure that studying abroad will provide a great contribution into my professional and individual development, and I have a great interest in that. I am sure that I will use this chance very well and will be able to build a great career …
