Susan Folkman and Judith Tedlie Moskowtiz (2000) form the University of California, San Francisco, research positive affect and other side of coping. Despite the fact that the article, which has been written on the basis of this research covers many aspects of the topic, the researcher recognize that coping and its positive and negative effects have not been studied in great details and there are many mechanisms and factors about them which require addressing and studying. Developing the studies of the topic, it is necessary to estimate both positive and negative impact of coping in order to define whether it is more useful or more harmful. It would be also necessary to create situational modes which would demonstrate in which situations coping should be used to obtain greater benefits, and in which situations it should be avoided in order to prevent negative impact (Folkman, Moskowitz, 2000).

Emotion regulation is an important aspect of life of every person. It has been studied by many researchers, including James J. Gross (1998) from Stanford University. The researcher analyzed numerous scientific works and due to this managed to create a detailed overview of the field of emotion regulation. However, the work dates back to the 1998 and modern life requires innovative approaches to the way of management of emotions, their estimation, and reviling, suppressing, encouragement. It would be also useful to identify the factors which cause the need to make approaches to emotions more innovative. The reason is that identification of the factors might be useful in terms of prediction of the future situation in the field of emotional regulation, their assessment and management. There can be no doubts that the current article is a significant contribution to the emotion management area as it provides analysis of many scientific works. Despite the fact that more than a decade passed since it had been written, it is still scientifically valuable (Gross,1998).
