Bridging the Imjin is one of the most important military engineering during the Korean War (October 1952 – July 1953). This project was very useful in war. The fact that it corresponds to reality is beyond any possible doubts. There was included building of two bridges: one was a high-level high way bridge which was a credit to any states highway system in the United States: the other was an experimental “low-water” bridge which is expected to survive being submerged by the river which it spans. They were quite specific and designed in a creative way.

Why these bridges were built, and prevented some of the problems which had to be shoved? - In this book we also can find the answer on this question. The author of this book was very polite in writing it because the language that was used in it is understandable and might be read even by the person that have little or no knowledge of engineering and it special terminology. There is nothing that would sound too sophisticated. Consequently, the book appeared to be rather popular among different categories of people. The thing is that it discussed certain and rather serious technological item with the help of ordinary words easy to understand.

This book can have a great success among the people working or studying in the engineering branch or for those ones who are planning to become architects. The matter is that the book discloses many interesting points concerning the sphere of architecture. As the result, people willing to choose the profession of architects can get much necessary information about the issue mentioned above.
